IMO Visual

In all our activities IMO consultants make themselves visible to others. The most important is of course to become visible as top consultants for our clients. But we are also visible in our business cards, website, correspondence, etc. For this reason, we designed a common style for all IMO consultants to use. Many thanks to Alexandre Macedo and Alexandra Hösli for their contributions.

The core steering principle in all examples is: use the same font, use the IMO logo, use the colors of the IMO logo. Characteristic for the examples: they are simple, minimal, well-designed. This should keep IMO recognizable.

Below you find all kinds of formats, templates, files, logo’s etc. With the steering principles in mind you can use these templates ore design your own format.

Here you can see the font to use in official IMO documents. The fontname is: ‘Source Sans Pro’ and is free to download and install on your computer:

https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/source-sans-pro

https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Source+Sans+Pro

Use this font for example in IMO brochures, presentations, correspondence, invoices, business card, articles, websites.

Here you find different types of Logo files for every IMO country. There are two type of files. With or without subtext. See the two images of the Finland logo as an example. The first logo has only the country name behind the logo, the second one has also the text below the logo, a translation of ‘Institute for human and organization development. Original in Dutch: Instituut voor Mens- en Organisatieontwikkeling.
The link refers to the IMO archive. Here you find different file types (psd, jpg and png). There is also a Word for every IMO country document with all the setting information about the logo.

You can download the images from the pages.

Here you find the two basic IMO colors, visible on the Brazilian IMO Logo. The I in IMO is a kind of ‘Indian Red’ and the M and O in IMO a kind of ‘Steel Blue’. You can also use these colors in ‘headings’ or ‘titles’ in brochure texts or presentations, etc. Together with the colors of the logo we use a dark grey scale for our text (header and body text). We prefer not to use 100% black.

When you write an -email as an IMO consultant, we can use the same style and look. Here you find an example (click on the example to find the template in Word):

When using presentation material, for example PowerPoint sheets, you can take this template. Below: two examples of a sheet from a presentation.
Steering idea: use the IMO colors, IMO logo, a horizontal red line and dark turquoise bar at the bottom, keep it simple.

A pre-made template gives you a lot of options. Here is an overview of all those options. You can download these examples-file.
You can download a template Powerpoint file to use for a presentation.
There is a tutorial available to use this template in a Powerpoint presentation.

IMO Consultants use the same format of business cards. The steering idea behind the design of this business card is: minimal design, only IMO colors and Source Sans Pro font (type: light).
Here is an example of the front and the back side of the card. For the sake of visibility the background color of the second image of the business card is light grey. It should be white. Feel free to add more information on the front.

Here are business card files to create your own file. The original business card has been created in Adobe Indesign.

When you send an invoice to a client, you can use the template as shown below. When you click on the image of this template you can download the Excel file of this template.

The international website of IMO and all other IMO country websites share the same style and structure. IMO websites are build with WordPress, we use the same template, called DIVI, from Elegant Themes. There is a common basic structure.

When a visitor goes to the domain name there is a Landing Page. When you scroll down this page the most relevant topics of the website are present.

The main menu bar shows the structure of the website. The order of the menu items fits to the interest of the average visitors. On the top menubar and in the footer area, you find additional information. S

It is possible, if there is a need for it, to create a personal website for an IMO consultant. This website website uses the IMO template for a common style, but the user can add content as he or she wants to communicate.  Here is an example of a personal webpage: https://het-imo.net/klaasijkema
Ask the website administrator (at the moment Klaas) to create a personal page if there is a need for it.
